Hello friends, in this article, I want to share my newly discovered WhatsApp tricks, after reading about technology articles on the internet, namely how to Bold, italic, and Cross out letters in the WhatsApp application that I just discovered in less than a week, when the article this is written.
In the past, I might feel there is no need to use this trick, so even though I often see bold, italic, and Cross out letters (usually fake messages, ads, channels, etc) I am not at all interested in knowing how to make it.
Immediately, the discussion, we will first discuss how to thicken the letters in the WhatsApp application, before that I inform you that all the tricks that I will submit below can be used in WhatsApp browser and in WhatsApp android, while for WhatsApp IOS try it yourself (should can), the thing is I still can't afford an iPhone😁.
Bold Letters
To bold the letters you only need to add * around the letters to be bold, more easily as shown above.
Italic Letters
To italic letters, you have to put letters between the _ symbols, which can be seen in the image above.
Cross out Letters
The last one is the same, actually adding the symbol ~ around the letters to be crossed out, but it's different from the previous trick I found it quite difficult to find the symbol ~ on an android virtual keyboard, maybe up to 10 seconds I look for it.
Combine all Formats
After I tried I found that bold, italic, and crossed out formats can also be combined, like the picture above.
This trick can also be used in the WhatsApp browser, but there are some shortcomings, namely if on Android, the WhatsApp format letters are displayed even though they are still typing, this does not apply in the WhatsApp browser, when typing the WhatsApp browser only displays plain text.
To see the actual format, you have to send the message first, actually there is no problem with this small thing, but maybe we will only feel difficulties when I want to send long texts with various letter formats in it.
See you later, thanks
